In the definition of an outcome what do they mean a single trial of experiment?

Consider an experiment is tossing two coins, now the experiment will be conducted only after two coins are tossed.
Suppose in the above experiment only one coin is tossed, here the experiment is not completed.
Now if some one tosses two coins, then continue to toss two coins one more time.
The first tossing of two coins is trial 1
second tossing of two coins is trial 2
