Expert Answer:

Euclid's Division Lemma is nothing but division fact . Dividend = Divisor x Quotient + Remainder

In other words, dividing 20 by 4 can be written as           20          =     4        x      5         +    0

20 = 10 + 10  is an addition fact.  20= 4x5 does not show remainder,so this pattern is unwanted for factual presentation.
