Expert Answer
Hint
x2 + x - 2
x2 + 2x - x - 2
x(x + 2) - (x + 2)
(x - 1) (x + 2)
x = 1, x = -2
So these are the possible zeroes.

Now simplify
1 over straight alpha minus 1 over straight beta
fraction numerator straight beta minus straight alpha over denominator αβ end fraction

Therefore the possible values are
(-3/2) or (3/2)
