If ܽa + b = 35 and a − b = 13, where a > b, then find the value of a and ܾb.

a + b = 35 ...(1)
a - b = 13 ....(2)
Adding (1) and (2), we get
2a = 48 → a = 24
From (1), 24 + b = 35 → b = 35 - 24 = 11
Therefore, a = 24 and b = 11
