Expert Answer:

When we are in a cold environment, blood flow to our internal organs is increased to keep our organs warm. The increase in blood flow to the kidneys causes more blood to be filtered thus producing more urine. Cold weather can induce bladder muscle overactivity. Also, people make more urine in the winter as in the summer because in warm weather, the body gets rid of more fluid by sweating. In winter, we tend to sweat less, so we urinate more to get rid of the wastes in our body.
