CBSE Class 10 Answered
How does muscle make movement?
Asked by keshavjeevats | 05 Oct, 2020, 19:55: PM
When an impulse reaches the muscle fibres of a motor unit, it stimulates a reaction in each sarcomere between the actin and myosin filaments. This reaction results in the start of a contraction and the sliding filament theory. Muscles move body parts by contracting and then relaxing. Muscles can pull bones, but they can't push them back to the original position.
