how can we derive the dimension of magnetic field(B)?
Asked by Ishita Tandon | 8th Sep, 2010, 12:00: AM
Expert Answer:
Using the defining equation,
F = q(v x B).
Hence the B dimensions are those of,
B = F/(vq) = Force/(velocity x charge) = [MLT-2]/([LT-1][AT])
