Ammonium chloride is a sublimable substance... ..

The substance sublime means, on heating it changes its state directly from solid to gas. That is undergoes decomposition easily.
Ammonium chloride when unndergos sublimation, the gas doesn't contain molecules of ammonium chloride but molecules of ammonium and hydrogen chloride.
