CBSE Class 12-science Answered
give reason crystaline solid are anisotropic
Asked by yaag8432 | 05 Mar, 2019, 19:28: PM
Crystalline anisotropic solids have their atoms arranged in three different planes. X, Y and Z.
Due to this the physical properties of these crystalline solids such as electrical resistance or refractive index
show the different values when measured along the different directions in the same crystal.
Therefore the crystalline solids are anisotropic in nature.
