Expert Answer:

Milk is highly nutritious, supplying protein, vitamin A, vitamin D, calcium and phosphorus to your diet. Because the vitamins and minerals in milk are small enough to be absorbed, they do not require digestion prior to absorption. However, the digestive system breaks down the proteins, fats and carbohydrates in milk to access its nutrients.
The proteins, fats carbohydrates will be digested accordingly with different enzymes.
