1/ Equivalent resistance = RxR/(R+R) = R/2, resistivity will not change.
2/ It experices a deflecting force which depends upon the orientation of direction of current in the condutor.
a. It experiences a maximum force when the direction of velocity of the charge is perpendicular to the direction of magnetic field.
b. It experiences a minimum force when the direction of velocity of the charge is parallel to the direction of magnetic field.
