difference between ;;;;;;;;TRANSPIRATION & TRANSLOCATION???

The loss of water from the aerial parts of the plant in the form of vapour is called transpiration whereas translocation is the transport of food from leaves to other parts of the plant body.
Translocation is caried out through phloem whereas the water lost in transpiration is pulled upward in the xylem.
