difference b/w voltage & potential difference?

There is no difference between the two terms. Potential difference and voltage is used to specify the same physical quantity. Potential difference is more of like a scientific terminology used among the scientific community whereas voltage is more of like a general term used among everyone.
We can say that physicist like potential difference and engineers like voltage. Voltage in general is a term used to indicate potential difference with respect to the ground.
