describe the structure & functioning of nephrons? (5 marks)

Nephrons are the structural and functional units of kidney. Each nephron is a long, tubular, coiled structure made up of Malpighian body, Proximal convoluted tubule, Loop of Henle, Distal convoluted tubule and collecting duct.
The nephron are involved in the formation of urine.
