Current is directly propotional to potential difference MEANS,
If we progressively increase or decrease the voltage or potential difference across a resistor while holding down all other factors such as temperature, resistance constant, then we'll observe that the electric current will also increase or decrease accordingly.
The current is inversely propotional to resistace MEANS,
If we progressively increase or decrease the resistance of a resistor while holding down all other factors such as temperature, potential difference constant, then we'll observe that the electric current will also decrease or increase respectively.
