Resistance is the property of a material by virtue of which it opposes the flow of current through it. It depends of various factors like length, dimensions, temperature etc of a conductor.It's unit is ohm.

Resistivity which is also known as specific resistance is defined as the resistance offered by 1m length of the conductor having an area of cross - section of 1 m2. for a conductor of given material , it's value is constant.It's unit is ohm-meter.
