Accuracy and Precision
Asked by Karthika P | 27th Feb, 2013, 09:22: PM
Accuracy means the closeness of the output to the actual value.
It is inversely proportional to the least count, i.e. lesser the least count, higher will be the accuracy.
Precision means how close are a bunch of readings to each other. It shows how the readings are consistent with each other. It is measured by calculating the variance of the set of readings.
