A stone is thrown horizontally from the top of a tower at 5 meter per second. Another stone is just dropeed at same speed. Which stone will hit the ground first & why ?

Both the stones will hit the ground at the same time as their initial speed is same and they cover the same height under the influence of same acceleration due to gravity acting in downward direction.
