Here, M = 6 g

F = 60 dyne and is inclined at an angle 600 with the horizontal.

thereforeComponent of force along the horizontal is
straight F subscript straight x space equals space straight F space cos space 60 degree space equals space 60 cross times 1 half equals 30 space dyne
If a is acceleration along the horizontal, then

straight F subscript straight x space equals space ma
therefore straight a space equals space straight F subscript straight x over straight m equals 30 over 6 equals 5 space cm space straight s to the power of minus 2 end exponent
