4x-3y=8 ... (i)
6x-y=29/3
Multiplying above equation by 3, we get
18x-3y=29 ... (ii)
Subtracting (i) from (ii), we get
14x=21
x=3/2
Substituting in (i), we have
4(3/2)-3y=8
6-3y=8
y=-2/3
