Let x be number of girls and y be number of boys.
If total number of students is 10 , then we have
![begin mathsize 14px style x space plus space y space equals space 10 end style](https://images.topperlearning.com/topper/tinymce/cache/ea2f392168e1baae21959112f37a7edb.png)
If number of girls is 4 more than number of boys , then
x- y = 4 .................... (2)
By adding , equations (1) and (2) , we get , 2 x = 14 or x = 7
From equation(1) , y = 10 -x = 10-7 = 3
Hence 7 girls and 3 boys attended the quiz program
