Why are all P--F bonds in PF5 molecule not of same length?

The hybridisation of PF5 is sp3d . PF5 has three axial bonds and two equatorial bonds. Axial bonds experience more repulsion due to the bond angle of 90o with F-atom present at the equatorial position from both side) and it leads to long bonds. so axial bonds are longer than equatorial bonds.
