- Consider a projectile motion of a ball which has been thrown at an angle of 45 degrees with the horizon.
- The ball travels along the vertical axis and the horizontal axis simultaneously.
- During this motion, the ball changes its position along these axes constantly untill it reaches the state of rest.
- If the horizon and the vertical component are considered seperately, they will appear to be a simultaneous and synchronised combination of 1 dimensional motion.
