State Board HSC Final Papers Will Now Have MCQ’s Related to NEET and JEE

Are you an HSC science student? Are you aspiring to become a doctor or an engineer in the future? Are you worried about the NEET or JEE Mains entrance exams? Well, here is good news for you: a change in the board examination question paper pattern. From February 2019 final exams onwards, there will be multiple choice questions (MCQ’s) in the final board exams just like you will have in the entrance tests. This update will help you prepare for the entrances along with the board exam.

Why change is good for you?

This decision of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education (MSBSHSE) is taken to boost your performance in the later coming entrance exams. These changes have been made by the Council of Boards of School Education for students to have a jumpstart for their coming entrances as well. It is a great chance for all your students to prepare for your entrance exams along with the final boards.

What are the changes in the paper?

After these updates in the paper pattern:

Physics - which is of 70 marks in total will have 4 marks MCQ’s, four of them of 1 mark each.

Chemistry - which is of 70 marks in total will have 4 marks MCQ’s, four of them of 1 mark each.

Biology – which is of 70 marks in total will have 8 marks MCQ’s, eight of them of 1 mark each.

Why are the changes made?

These are the changes which you need to keep in mind while you prepare for the final exams in February 2019. Majority of the students who are giving HSC science will be appearing for these entrances and this update will be a good way to prepare for NEET or JEE Mains simultaneously. If you’re not going to appear for these entrance exams after your HSC, then this change can be a good opportunity for you to learn how to conceptually cover everything about a subject which you can apply in your field of study as well.
