Ganesh Chaturthi is a grand festival observed in many parts of the country. It is a very important festival for Hindus, but there are certain guidelines that must be followed during Ganesh Chaturthi. Let’s take a look at some of the most important guidelines:

Permission from local authorities before setting up a Pandal: Make sure you do things legally. It is very important to comply with laws regarding setting up pandals. So, get permission first.
No Loud Music: Loud music may seem to be a good idea for you and your friends but you need to be sensitive to the needs of other people too. According to the laws, there is a time set to play music beyond which you are supposed to turn it off. So, play music but do not break the laws!
CCTV Cameras: CCTV cameras should be installed, especially in big pandals to avoid mishaps. In addition, make sure that there are proper entry and exit points in each pandal.
Fire Extinguishers: Fire Extinguishers should be kept ready at all pandals.
Be Careful at the time of Immersion: All rules related to Ganesh idols immersion should be followed. Avoid getting drunk before going for immersions. This may make situations worse. Follow routes suggested by the Police as it would create less traffic chaos.
Crackers: Do not make use of dangerous crackers. Make sure you light crackers in open space.
