CBSE Class 10 Maths Board Exam 2024 Post Paper Analysis - 11th March

Today, March 11th, 2024, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 10 Mathematics board exam Standard and Basic paper. Here, students can check out the analysis of the paper, along with feedback from students and Experts, and see how difficult the questions were. 

Question Paper Pattern

The question paper has 5 Sections A, B, C, D, and E.

  • In Section A, the paper has 20 objective-type questions carrying one mark each, of which there are 18 multiple choice questions (Q1-Q18) and 2 Assertion-Reasoning questions (Q19–Q20). All 20 questions are compulsory.
  • Section B has 5 questions carrying 02 marks each. All 5 questions are compulsory and two of them will have an internal choice.
  • Section C has 6 questions carrying 03 marks each. All 6 questions are compulsory and two of them will have an internal choice. 
  • In Section D, there are 4 questions carrying 05 marks each. All 4 questions are compulsory and two of them will have an internal choice.
  • The most important Section E has 3 case-based integrated units of assessment (04 marks each) with subparts of the values of 1, 1, and 2 marks each. An internal choice has been provided in the 2-mark questions of Section E.
