Benjamin Franklin: Founder of the Constitution of the United States

Here we list some amazing facts about the founding father of the Constitution of the United States

1. Benjamin Franklin is best known for his contribution to drafting the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States.

2. Benjamin designed the glass harmonica, or armonica, in 1961. It creates musical tones by using different sized glass bowls.

3. Benjamin is the reason we can sit in a rocking chair. He fitted the legs of his armchair with curved pieces of wood to make an invention which is still widely used today.

4. Benjamin was also the owner of the Pennsylvania Gazette newspaper. His printing company also printed money for Pennsylvania and Delaware.

5. Benjamin had a passion to help people. He volunteered for the Union Fire Company, which is now known as ‘Benjamin Franklin’s Bucket Brigade’.
