Dubai Girl to Represent Gulf at India’s Maths Olympiad

A Dubai student has demonstrated her amazing Math abilities by being the only student in the entire Gulf region to qualify for India’s prestigious Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO).

Fathima Maha, a 16-year old Class 11 student at GEMS Our Indian School, Al Quoz, is one of the 35 students chosen to answer INMO for CBSE schools across India and internationally.

Fathima was also among the five finalists in the Twitter profile picture competition held by Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).

Fathima is a high-performing student who aspires to get into an Indian Institute of Technology. She finds Maths fun and always looks for ways to challenge herself. This is a proud moment for Fathima and her teachers who have worked hard to help her fulfil her dreams.
