Will there be any induced emf produced in loop placed in non uniform magnetic field?

Expert Answer:
According to Faraday's law of electromagneticinduction, an emf is induced in a coil which is equal to the rate of change of magnetic flux through that coil.
Thus magnetic flux is the product of magnetic field and area of cross-section thus in a non uniform magnetic field if a coil is moved, the magnetic flux through it will vary with time and thus an emf will be induced.
