The shape of a body may change on application of a force.
There are numerous examples for this statement.
Ex1- Consider a polythin bag. If you hold it from two hands and try to strech it, it changes its shape and the force in this case would be the force applied from your both hands at the end.
Ex2- A metal plate when pressed by hammer. In this case deformations may come in the metal as a result of the force applied by the hammer
Ex3- Hold a paper from one end in your hand and move the other end of the paper from other hand keeping one end fixed, in this case the paper goes from straight to a circular shape as a result of the force applied bu your other hand
