When rate of GST reduces from 18% to 12% for a underwear manufacture machine, Rahul has to pay 600 less for it. What is listed price of machine??

Let the listed price of the machine = Rs. x
 
According to the condition,
 
12% of x = 18% of x - 600
begin mathsize 16px style fraction numerator 12 straight x over denominator 100 end fraction equals fraction numerator 18 straight x over denominator 100 end fraction minus 600 rightwards double arrow 12 straight x space equals space 18 straight x space minus space 60000 rightwards double arrow 6 straight x space equals space 60000 rightwards double arrow space straight x space equals space 10000 end style 
Therefore, the listed price of the machine is Rs. 10,000.
