When plug is pulled ,then a spark is shown why

Breakdown voltage of air at atmospheric pressure is 3 × 106 V / m .
Hence in an air gap of 0.1 mm , 300 V is breakdown voltage , i.e air is ionised and arching takes place if two conductors placed
with air gap 0.1 mm and potential difference between conductors is 300 V.
When we remove the plug from electrical point that has electrical potential 270 V, above condition occurs
for fraction of millisecond between the metal of plug tip and metal of electrical point .
Hence arching is taking place when we plug is pulled out from electrical power point
