Expert Answer
At STP,
One mole=22.4 L
So according to stoichiometry of the equation,
1 mole of O2 is required for the oxidation of 1 mole of SO2. (From stoichiometric ratio )
Which means for 22.4 L of SO2, O2 is needed=22.4L
So for oxidation of 1 L of SO2, O2 is needed= 1 L
