Expert Answer
Dear Student,

 Amount of C in g = 12×0.4131/44 = 0.1126 g in 0.315 g organic compound,

So, % C = 0.1126 × 100 / 0.315 = 35.7 ≈ 36 % C

Amount of H in g = 2×0.6732 /18 = 0.0748 g in 0.315 g organic compound

So, % H = 0.0748×100/0.315 = 23.7 ≈ 24 % H
