Given:
10% of alcohol in water
Means 10 gm of alcohol in 100 gm of solution.
Mass of water = 90 gm
No. of moles of water =90/18
= 5 mol
No. of moles of ethyl alcohol = 10/46
= 0.21 mol
Mole fraction of alcohol =
![equals fraction numerator No. space of space moles space of space alcohol over denominator No. space of space moles space of space acohol space plus space No. space of space moles space of space water end fraction
