What is Fussion ? Why regeneration can't considered as Reproduction

Regeneration is not the same as reproduction, as regeneration is a mode of asequal reproduction. Also in regeneration, in certain organisms not the whole organism, but only a part of the organism is regenerated (Example, tail of a lizard can be regenerated). On the contrary reproduction involves the formation of an entirely new organism. Hence we can say that regenration is not the same as reproduction.
