What does skeletal gap chemical equation represent?
Using the equation for electrolytic decomposition of water differentiate between a skeletal chemical equation and a balanced chemical equation?

Note: The correct term used is 'skeletal chemical equation' not 'skeletal gap equation'.

Skeletal equation are the equation which represents the reactants and the products involved but which is not balanced in terms of stoichiometric coefficient. In simple words, skeletal chemical equation is an unbalanced chemical equation.
