answered-by-expert Expert Answer

When a charged particle moves in a uniform magnetic field, there exists the interaction between the applied magnetic field and the magnetic field produced by the moving charge. Due to this interaction a moving charge experiences a force, which is known as magnetic Lorentz force. It is given by expression

begin mathsize 11px style straight F with rightwards arrow on top space equals space straight q open parentheses straight v with rightwards arrow on top cross times straight B with rightwards arrow on top close parentheses end style
