Q) How many significant Figures are there in ₹1000 and 1000pens?

Rules for identifying significant figures
1.Zeros between two non-zero digits ARE significant
2.Leading zeros are NOT significant.
3. Trailing zeros in a whole number with the decimal shown ARE significant.
4. Trailing zeros in a whole number with no decimal shown are NOT significant.
5. Trailing zeros to the right of the decimal ARE significant.
From rule 4. it is clear that the zeros are trailing zeros and there is no decimal point.
Thus all zeros in the given number are non -significant.
Thus, in the given number there is one significant figure i.e. '1' from
