Please solve this.. Calculate the power spent by a crane while lifting a load of mass 2000 kg, at velocity of 1.5 m/s. (g = 10m * s ^ - 2)

Given that,

Mass, m = 2000 kg

Velocity, v =1.5 m/s

g = 10 m/s2

Now,

Weight or Downward force = Mass × gravitational acceleration

 = 2000 × 10 = 20000 N

Whereas, power spent by a crane will be

Power = Force × Velocity.

Power, P = 20000 × 1.5

P = 30000 W or 30 Kw
