simply put x = 0 in this limit expression

we get (1 -1 -1 -1) / (2 -1 -1) = -2 / (2 -2) = 2 / ( 2 -1)

since it is finite no need to apply L. Hospital rule

it is applied when we get undeterminable forms like 0/0 , 1 raise to power infinity , infinity raise to power 0, infinity / infinity

in those cases we simply differentiate both numerator and denominator w.r.t  x and then limits are applied.
