Sound energy itself is mechanical energy. And besides there is not much real mechanical energy you could obtain from sound . They are just vibrations of very small amplitude. At best sound can cause your heat to feel the thump when you hear very loud music at dj parties.

And even if there is a device that converts sound into mechanical energy it would be quite non sense.sound is a material wave and hence dissipates really quick.the losses on energy transmission over fairly short distances would be immense.
