If a train moves 25km/sec and decrease to 15km/sec by applying brake in 5 sec then what will be the force of brake

Given that,
Initial speed, u = 25 km/s
Final speed, v = 15 km/s
Time, t = 5 sec.
Now,
v equals u plus a t
i. e. comma space a space equals fraction numerator v minus u over denominator t end fraction equals fraction numerator 20 minus 15 over denominator 5 end fraction equals 1 space k m divided by s squared
o r space a space equals space 1000 space m divided by s squared
Now for the given case the retarding force will be given as F =ma.
i.e., F= m × 1000 N = m kN
 
Note: In this mass is unknown, to find the force, we need the magnitude of mass as well.
