Q1/ The rate of evaporation will increase, since it's inversely propotional to the pressure.
Q2/ The time period of simple pendulum is directly propotional to the squareroot of length. In summer increase in temperature, increases the length of the pendulum clock, which in turn increases time period. An increased time period more duration to count the second hence the clocks slows down.
