1) Potential energy of water stored at height -> Kinetic energy of flowing water -> mechanical energy of turbine -> electrical energy

2)  (i) W = m x g x h

When h = 10 m

g = 9.8 m/s2

Potential energy will be  = Work done = m x g x h = 1 x 9.8 x 10 = 98 J ...

(ii) When the object reaches height of 4 m,

The potential energy at 4 m = Work done = m x g x h = 1 x 9.8 x 4 = 39.2 J

3)

(a) electrical energy -> sound energy

(b) Sound energy -> electrical energy

(c) electrical energy -> light energy

(d) electrical energy -> light energy
