when an arrow is shot from its bow it has kinetic Energy. From where does it get the kinetic Energy

Initially base of the arrow is at O , arrow is in contact with bow string and the bow string is vertical .
When the bow string is stretched so that base of the arrow moves to P while in contact with bow string,
workdone to stretch the bow string is stored as potential energy in the bowstring and tension forces T are acting
as restoring forces as shown in figure.
When the bow string is released at stretched position, resultant of tension forces drive the arrow in horizontal direction.
Hence arrow has kinetic energy .
Potential energy stored in bow string is transferred to arraow in the form of kinetic energy.
