Please check your question:
Question: Goods are sold from Agra (UP) to Kanpur(UP) for Rs18000 and then from a Kanpur to a customer in Delhi. If the rate of gst is 18% and the profit in kanpur is Rs 6000. Find the net gst paid in Kanpur
For the dealer in Agra,
Price = Rs. 18,000
CGST = 9% of 18,000 = 1620
SGST = 9% of 18,000 = 1620
When the product is sold from Kanpur to Delhi
For the dealer in Kanpur,
Input Tax credit = 1620 + 1620 = Rs. 3240
Price = Rs. 18,000 anf Profit = Rs. 6,000
Selling Price = Rs. 24,000
IGST = 18% of 24,000 = Rs. 4320
Net GST paid by the dealer at Kanpur
= Output GST - Input GST
= 4320 - 3240
= Rs. 1080
