Find the equation of the plane with intercepts 2,3,4 on the x-axis,y-axis and z-axis respectively. The answer given in the book is: 6x+4y+3z=12

If intercepts of a plane are given as l, m, n on x, y and z axis respectively, then the equation of plane is given by 
x/l + y/m + z/ n  = 1
 
x/2 + y/3+z/4 = 1
6x+4y+3z = 12
