Equal masses of oxygen, hydrogen and methane are taken in a container in identical conditions. Find the ratio of the volumes of the gases.

The molecular weights of given mixture of gases are
1. Oxygen = 32
2. Hydrogen = 2
3. Methane = 16
 
Since masses are equal, assume mass as x,
 
So By using formula   N o. space o f space m o l e s space equals fraction numerator m a s s over denominator M o l e c u l a r space w e i g h t end fraction   the no. of moles would be,
