A solid sphere of mass 10kg and diameter 1m rolls without slipping with uniform speed 5m/s on a horizontal surface. Find it's total kinetic energy

Kinetic energy of a rolling body without slipping = (1/2)×m×v2 + (1/2)×I×ω2 ........................(1)
 
where m is mass of the rolling body, v is its linear speed, I is moment of inertia and ω is angular speed of rotation.
 
Given Data :- m = 10 kg, v = 5 m/s, I = (2/5)m×r2 = (2/5)×10×1×1 = 4 kg m2 , where r is radius of sphere, ω = v/r = 5 rad/s
 
Kinetic energy = (1/2)×10×5×5 + (1/2)×4×5×5 = 175 J
